I'm Finally Set up on my Real Torch!

Well, I finally received my oxycon. I guess the first one they sent to me got lost because it never showed up. I contacted Brent(Mr. Smiley on lampwork etc.) and they immediately shipped me another one and it came this week on Monday. When I opened it up I was surprised because it had black metal casing and looked a lot cooler than the usual oxycons. I have been playing with my new torch and I am loving it. The glass becomes round like it is supposed to and it really flows. The torch is a red mega minor and it is so quiet compared to the hothead. Now, all the noise is from the squirrel cage fan I use for my ventilation system. I will take some pics and post them soon. I will make some youtube videos of my beadmaking adventures also. :)

Hi Michelle, thank you for listing my blog on your page! I'll add yours to my list of favourites as well :o)

Isn't the step up from the hh wonderful, I love the quietness and gentleness of the flame - and like you say, the way the glass melts!

Now if I could only stay focussed and stop flitting from idea to idea!

PS.
I just remembered the artist's name that you might like, if you haven't already found her, her name is Angelina Wrona, I found some of her work here - http://www.posterbobs.com/services20.html

Hello Michelle, so glad your new equipment arrived. Perhaps I would probably like working with glass more if I went with a similar set up. But alas, so much to do, so little time. Looking forward to the pictures. Take care.

Oh my gosh, I didn't realize people were actually reading this blog. I thought I was all alone. Thank you Louise and Susan for coming to my blog. I wonder why blogspot is not sending me emails about comments on here.
