Maybe some precious metal clay beads...

It is going to be excruciatingly cold the next three days so I think I am going to take a break from the torch and maybe play with some precious metal clay that I have. I have been wanting to make some pandora/troll/biagi beads out of precious metal clay. I will only have to go in the basement to put the clay in the kiln. My basement gets extremely cold when it is in the single digits and especially when I open the window for fresh air. I will probably work with the clay in the bedroom or upstairs where it is very warm. I really can't wait till spring, this winter has been so brutal. In the previous few years we would have cold snaps and then it would warm up to the 60's but this year it has been straight cold since November. I just don't like it and can't wait for it to end. :(

I can't wait to see what you do with the pmc Michelle - I'd love to try that too, but just can't afford to at the minute. Have you seen it used in borosilicate beads? Ohhhh my.. just gorgeous!

I haven't seen it used with boro. I made a bead but I don't really like it. I need a tumbler now. I really miss torching and wish these single digits will go away. :( Precious Metal Clay is expensive and I wouldn't have any if I wouldn't have bought it a couple of years ago.

I love your beads! I have bookmarked you, so I can watch your webcam recordings - great idea - look forward to them. I have been meaning to try something similar with jewellery making techniques, so you will be inspiration for that!

I actually just wanted to say I empathise about working in the cold - I live in Scotland, and working with the kiln, with the window open, is not funny!
